Welcome to the wiki space community for the Borg Center tutors. If you are not familiar with using Wikis, please view the YouTube video located below the Video heading at the bottom of this page. This wiki is designed to help maximize your individual learning while tutoring at the Borg Center by providing an experience of online social learning through collaboration. As we are all available at different times, this wiki will also provide you with the opportunity to maintain contact through one concise avenue.
The expectation is that you will access the site weekly using the Community Questions & Answers page for posting questions, comments, or feedback as they relate to your tutoring sessions. After reading through this page, be sure to explore the navigation links to the left.
By right clicking when opening the links, you are capable of viewing the content in a new tab or window. This will enable you to toggle back and forth between the wiki and the other sites.

Suggestions
Here are some suggestions for using isuborg wiki. Follow these instructions to avoid losing information:
Make small edits - do not use the wiki as a word processor.
Refresh the page before you begin writing.
If typing directly into the wiki, highlight and copy what you've written before you post. (In the case where the page has timed out on the computer, you will then be able to simply log back in, return to the page, and paste what was captured). I strongly recommend keeping a word document with your tutoring session entries. Once you've completed your week's reflection via your word document, copy and paste from the document onto your Tutor Portfolio page.
Use the history tab at the top of the wiki or the Recent Changes link in the upper left hand corner to see what changes have been made. This is especially useful if you lose or accidentally delete some information.
